I pray that your day has gotten off to a great start. The past few days, I have seen battlefields and like any other battleground, there are pits, traps and distractions to take us down. Many women have been sent out to engage in warfare and being that you were unprepared you fell for every pit, trap and distractions. You did not even know that you were a target, but you had an X on your back and you were marked for Mission Take Down. Being in that field has caused a lot of pain and you don’t know if you are ready to move on to the next thing.
Today, I want to tell you that you are a warrior, and you were chosen for the task. The enemy will use that battleground to try and discredit you, fill you with regrets, imprison you with unforgiveness and bitterness and paralyze you with hopelessness, fear and uncertainty for the future; all in an attempt to kill your joy, destroy your hope and steal your destiny.
NOT TODAY! You have learned from your mistakes, and it is time to move on. All that trial did is prep you for the next battle and you will be better equipped to fight in the full armor of God. You have gone through and have come out because somebody needs to be delivered and set free from the same things you have experienced and it’s wonderful to know that somebody somewhere will learn from your mistakes. They will learn how to trust God on the field and through the healing process. I know it was not fun going through but count it a privilege to be chosen for the task to help others.
Hint, hint if you did not know already, you have just caught a glimpse of your purpose. All that you have gone through is not in vain, but it is for such a time as this. Get up wounded warrior and get your next orders! El Roi is the God who sees you! Our Lord sees everything, and He sees you on the other side living your full potential for the Kingdom. Your purpose is your present call and your destiny is your ultimate election (can’t remember who said this but it’s good). Your purpose can be several things; like Joseph, his purpose was served in the pit, in Potiphar’s house, in prison and more and His ultimate election was the ruler of Egypt. Don’t despise the battlefield because it was for a set purpose for that time and soon the Lord will bring you to the big picture. El Roi sees the big picture, so trust Him in the highs and lows of life and keep going. Be encouraged by Paul’s words…
Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 3:13-14
