I Thought It Was Up to Me

I had the biggest smile on my face thinking about God’s grace. The smile came as I remembered when the Lord showed me how His grace works in my life. My life changed and I saw things altogether different when God supernaturally strengthened my depleted body for the task that was ahead of me. Right then, I really, really….FORREAL realized that this has nothing do with me. I knew that I was not doing what He called me to do alone, and I knew that I could conquer!

Daughters of God, whatever you are facing today:

The challenges of motherhood

The challenges of marriage

Health challenges

Business challenges

Challenges at your church

Job challenges

Dealing with the mistakes of your past

Challenges to see that God has hope and a future for you

Today, there is great news because you can trust God fully, knowing that He has taken care of every challenge and every mistake. Is that not a wonderful feeling? My spirit leaps just thinking about the very idea that...

Today we can live in the freedom that RESTing in God’s grace provides. We don’t have to sit around worrying and missing out on the abundant life—The life we can use to share God’s message of hope, loving our families and others, enjoying the Father’s creation, sharing in the lives of friends, practicing hospitality and more. We can do our part and trust God wholeheartedly to do the heavy lifting. Often, we feel as though we are doing the heavy lifting and we are waiting on God to flick a wand. This is only because we are trying to do EVERYTHING and we don’t really believe the Lord plays a big part in the equation, even though we boast how much we trust Him. Our actions say otherwise. Be encouraged today, ladies…

📍God’s grace is sufficient

📍His strength is made perfect in my weakness

📍I can boast about that and nothing else

HALLELUJAH!

And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast [a]about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in distresses, in persecutions, in difficulties, in behalf of Christ; for when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:9-10
